New School Dining Room Project - maximising space and ultra modern

Shelley College is a large college with over 1200 students. The old dining area was practical but uninspiring. Seatable were asked to design a space suitable for a high volume of students and staff but that had the “WOW” factor to create an inspirational dining room experience that all diners would be proud of and want to use.

There were concerns from the school about having too many individual chairs and tables because of the cleaning aspect and manual handling issues. Neither did they want rows and rows of tables.

Seatable worked closely with the college and the end result was a mixture of Seatable's “WOW” dining and bench sets combined with some round pedestal base tables. Finally, to set the scene a cluster of poseur bars with wooden stools. The result was a great colourful user space, catering for large friend groups as well as smaller ergonomic tables and chairs.
